Worked with the Senator sponsoring the legislation, the State Bar lobbyist, and particularly with the legislative analyst for the Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee to overcome objections to the Bill. Testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee, and coordinated with the California Law Revision Commission regarding implementation of the 1990 Amendments. In 1995, coordinated with the California Law Revision Commission and State Bar lobbyist to extend the "sunset" provision of the 1990 Amendments, which otherwise would have resulted in the January 1, 1996 elimination of the revisions effected by the 1990 Amendments.
